Sinheresy are a symphonic-heavy metal band from Trieste (Italy), founded in 2009 by the bassist Davide Sportiello, the guitarist Lorenzo Pasutto, the vocalist Cecilia Petrini and the drummer Alex Vescovi.

In the first months of 2010, the vocalist Stefano Sain joins the band and completes the line-up. With this formation the band begins its live activity as a Nightwish cover band, touring the north-east Italy and the neighbouring Slovenia.

After the recording of a home-made demo containing two unpublished songs for a promotional purpose, in June 2011 Sinheresy enter in Ravenna's Studio 73 to record their first official work : The Spiders And The Butterfly.

The style of the five songs contained in the EP can't be univocally catalogued, because on a solid heavy metal base with dark shades there are inserted arrangements with gothic, symphonic and power influences.

In November, the band announces the agreement with the young roman label Revalve Records for the EP's distribution ; the official release is fixed on December 14th, 2011. Contemporaneously, Sinheresy have announced the entrance of the keyboards player Daniele Girardelli in the line-up.

Now the band works hard for its promotion among the record companies and the specialized newspapers, then for the beginning of 2012 Sinheresy are planning a series of introduction gigs all around Italy, Slovenia, Austria and Switzerland.
