the sun slowly dies
to the waiting arms of night
as her darkened embrace
crushes the light
frozen waves of bitterness
crash upon jagged shores
as a raging storm of ancient times
gathers above...

she calls to me
through the forests echo her beckoning
a sirens song that ignites a fire in my eyes
a hopless sense of wanderlust never satisfied

take me now
to forests cold
to ancient ways
of legends old
my burning heart
can find no rest
in this age
of nothingness.

Alone I will tread the frostbitten trails into darkness
from the light of their blinding idols
To the forests I flea the wretched clutches of man
And leave the blighted nothingness far behind

wracked with a madness coursing through my veins
my eyes blacken as I die to this world

I will find my home amid snow covered trees
in a place where heathen wisdom flows in forgotten streams

there I will find the mistress of night
frigid temptress draped in moonlight

together we shall embrace in darkness
bonded now and forevermore
she will be the guiding hand
as I hunt them from the shadows

haunting visions wreathed in comtempt
kindle flames of hatred within..

I surrender myself unto her
her warrior i shall stand
my poisoned blade thrust through their heart
as i laugh in the bloodied face of man

3. To the Pyre

as i bear witness to the landscapes before me
it torments me like nails through my skull
how i wish to see it all collapse unto itself
this fragile world of man reduced to nothing...

uproot the crop cast it straight to the pyre
salt the fields in which it grew
poison the future for humanity
the reign of the weak now is through
distanced they are severed they've become
far removed from anything pure
forever alone, forever they'll rot
trapped evermore in a sea of cacophany

fruits of the labours forever rotten
blackened blossoms in their orchards aflame
despite the fight, despite their struggles their beloved offspring are all born lame
futile efforts to mend the wounds are met with failure, devoid of substance
mankind's only hope has long been betrayed

behold the power of death as the world about you fades to nothing
feel the cold grip of her frozen hands clentched upon your trembling soul
the god of deceit and his kingdom of treachery shall perish in flames of ancient truths
this is the end
all once sacred, now worth nothing

the progenitor, poisoned is cast aside
the tattered wretch raped, murdered, and burned
her decadent children lack any sign of remorse as they willingly suckle the mechanical whore
instincts to guide them down a path of power now overgrown with the mold of corruption
a breeding ground set for a hopless future
as they hail to their kingdom of the weak and the flawed...

4. Pacing the Cyclic Nether

stretching upward eternally
toward the bleak winter sky
blackend arms of earthen core
guardians to the sanctity of
this forest dark and cold

bitter are the tidings of the frozen wind
lashing at the flesh of those who dare to venture within

abandon hope all ye who enter
for it has no place here
although there exist many an entrance
from the darkness there is no escape

haunting chants
of the elder winds
amidst the mocking chatter
of restless spirits

drown the screams
of the lost
futile cries
of frozen agony

follow the shadows
and they will only
lead you astray
further into the abyss
the haze thickens
and the world about you fades
victim to obscurity

hopelessness falls from the heavens
white
crushing
silence

your body wracked in utter despair
trembles and gives way
to the whim
of the engulfing grimness

shadows gather
to bear witness
to this silent tragedy
through hollow eyes
they leer
wicked smile from cheek to cheek

rot seeps through the flesh
cold cuts to the bone
the essence of your being
completely unraveled

tis better to embrace the hopelessness
than bare the fruitless struggle

trapped forevermore within
these woods become your home
your spirit bound forever
eternally pacing the cyclic nether.
