2. FEAR LEAVES ME

Excuse my pleasures for cures,
They will reward you all the same,
Again I force myself to care,
Impatience cripples me.

Potential light is all blown out,
The smell lingers in the way,
It blocks my path into the night,
Not found till the next day.

Fear leaves me,
And I am shutting down,
And I wait,
For this orbit to be over.

Misery mistaken for charisma,
Too numb to laugh or fear,
Drowning in the transience of sentiment,
Too weak my flesh to tear
