At dawn,
Morning star high.
Pondering in twilight
'til End is nigh.

A wail of voices,
Shrieks inside,
Doubting all choices
And seeding divide.

"I, Brimstone and wonder
A dragon up on high.
I, Brimstone and thunder
A slayer to deify."

And it falls through the abyss
An enemy for the ages.
And Helios be my witness
Of the death of all sages.

A serpent of light
Burning right and wrong
A dagger to smite
A life lived too long.

"I look upon your dying face
Grinning and growing apace
Your feeble life, I debase.
Your pale life, I erase."

"I rip flesh from bone,
Tearing earth and stone.
Crimson slaughter, I exhale,
Only calamity shall prevail."
