1. DELUSION

Breached walls
Over nothingness
Blast my mind off
Wrecked all my faith

Collapsed foundations,
Spirit, ruined.
Remains the shadow
Of its former self

What’s left ?
My Destiny remains
Delusion
My fate is in my hands
Fools! my life is doomed
I’m oblivious
Sightless

All I have done and suffered through, decayed
Ad hoc reasons, fantasies, appear clear to me
All I wish now is a a trepanation
In order to get some rest, but

The eyes of a tyrant
Sometimes look empty
Though my sight is filled
with anxiety

Desperate reaction
Worthless pain
Remains the shadow
Of a former ace

What’s left ?
My Destiny remains
Delusion
My fate is in my hands
Fool! my life is doomed
I’m oblivious
Sightless

The heart is meant for a lover’s voice,
Not the sour guilt of bitter ploys

May I for once expect to live a life
Clearer and sober, stop the benzos rife
Without spending ev'ry single moment
Forseeing my future to be uprooted

In my mind, the final confusion:
A slowly unfolding delusional illusion
