Hypnos (CZ) : The Whitecrow
Les paroles
1. PROLOGUE
Once upon a time, mankind suffered a new plague, a plague of wrath and
hatred. Relationships among people had fallen down to a freezing point
and words such as trust or compassion had become just a cluster of
letters with no serious meaning. People were able to kill for the pettiest of
reasons and even they would find that enjoyable.
Nobody would to lend an ear to anyone.
Sanity almost disappeared as the days turned into permanent night.
When the world was balancing at the edge of its downfall,
One young man decided to become a plague doctor
and heal the people from this decadence.
He called himself “Whitecrow”.
2. TOWARDS HUMANITY
(Instrumental)
3. THE WHITECROW
The morality’s opulent fall,
The lack of confidence
Covetous throats impossible to feed
Permanent oppression
Information streams
Dictating what to think
And there’s nowhere to hide
Prefabricated minds
Make us a stereotype herd,
Just as expected
Our ground – violated
Our homes - unrespected
Our fathers – neglected
Our pleas – silenced
When future seems not bright
Someone’s searching for the light
Someone who is not forlorn,
Not given to mourn
A messenger from the sun,
New phoenix is born
A follower of none, a speaker for all
I am the one who embraced the sun
For my spirit’s liberation
And I am enjoying its heat
Breaking conventions
By tearing useless ties
Not giving in to mass psychosis
Heading towards
A brighter horizon
Filled with tranquillity
All is within the reach
Whitecrow… I am Whitecrow
4. ONE FLESH, ONE BLOOD
Across the poles,
Across the continents,
Heated breath of hatred
Burns the lands
History incessantly repeating
All the ages and no lessons learnt
Violence as a thrilling exercise,
Paradigm of a short-term paradise
Captured by illusion of supremacy,
Self-coronation achieved
Let the wind blow all smoke away
And see the point
We are one flesh, one blood
Human language to be spoken
In this Babylon
We are one flesh, one blood
Infinite purity of new life,
Original equation,
Tainted by poison drops
In the mother’s milk
Grudge is becoming
A part of the custom
Violating equality
Seen as a token of goodwill
Down with the f(F)athers
Enslaved by lust
Down with the mentors
Obsessed with guns
Down with the lovers
Who love to rape
Down with the tyrants
Proclaiming aid
Let the wind blow all smoke away
And see the point
We are one flesh, one blood
Human language to be spoken
In this Babylon
We are one flesh, one blood
No aim for endless life
Can ever justify
A desire for higher divinity
Self-transformation into a messiah
Always turn out as immense vanity
5. GET INSPIRED BY THE LIGHT / DISCIPLINE OF SELF-TREATMENT
All things left now turn into dark
Faith fades, loses its spark.
This loyal friend that’s fading away
Fate feels heavier from day to day
Forsaken
Pushed hard
To the ground
Calm down and take a deep breath…
Deep inside
Stay focused and inhale the light
Drink the light, swallow the light
Submit to force
That makes you shine bright
You can’t expect anyone to care
(for you)
This is the truth, I swear!
You’re the best healer
Of your mind and skin
The quest for harmony
Self-treatment discipline
Quest for balance of the body
And the soul
See aurora screaming with joy
Remember that snow has always been
(and will be) white
No time to waste,
Get inspired by the light
6. SIN COLLECTORS
The bygone acts of rebellion
As firmly planted memorial stones
Pathways still discernible,
Not covered by leaves nor snow
Devoted wolves follow these paths,
Where they howl
At the moon at night
Sitting united in circle
Recalling the good old days
Hear us children, our name is sin,
Hear our candid confession
We are craving for the smell of
Fresh blow of new transgression
We are still the same sin collectors
Beckoning to the faithful ones
Still starving for provocation
As we have always starved
Some may call it a sin,
We call it an earthly joy
Not shackled by limitations,
We treat backward rules with scorn
We used to walk on different shores
of the same river
And we’ve rebuilt the bridge
To feel this tremble again
Hear us children, sons of revolt,
Dwelling in plain defiance
Time has come
And now we are gathered,
Join us in this alliance
We are still the same sin collectors
Beckoning to the faithful ones
Still starving for provocation
As we have always starved
7. HAERETICUM MINUET / REBELS DANCING
(Instrumental)
8. THE GIFT OF HOPE
Sometimes it’s needed to find a point
In space, when one is losing the way
And hold onto it tight not to feel
Led astray, desolate
When you’re searching for strength
To defeat inner pain
When you’re down and given-up
Do not drop the chain
Don’t stay staring at heaven
Immersed in resigned grief
The thing that matters is to keep
Your will to be
…someone who’s not seeing himself
As a victim
Someone who is yearning
For another tomorrow, every night.
Ditch your self-pity crying that
The world turns its back on you
Gather inner strength
As others can do
Never give up hope
That life’s worth living
Because one day you will again reach
The place where pleasures breed
Gift or hope – the drop of water
For those dying of thirst
The emerging sun from behind
The clouds is gift of hope
The end of every tunnel is lit up
With a gleam
Everything dies but I always stay
Eager to search for meaning in life
Come what may, protect your hopes
Mindfully until the last day
I believe that goodness
In people has not died
I do believe true friendship
Is always recognized
I don’t believe in promises
Of everlasting life
I don’t believe the minds saying the
World is committing a suicide
Gift of hope
9. ABOUT TRUST / THE ANATOMY OF EMPATHY
The human manners anatomy,
Blind maze of vagaries
Where you can lose the way,
You can be led astray
Doubtful about the meaning
Of empathy
You can live in mistrust
And rely on yourself
Turning into a solitary one
You can keep the distance, left alone,
Disconnected
Dwelling in abiding state
Of let-down
Trust your mother
That she would die for you
Trust your father
That he will protect you anytime
Trust your children
That they will keep your repute
Trust your friends
They ain’t gonna let you down
Turn the page and start writing on
A blank sheet
About the nature of men
About the fear and hesitation to
Run the risk of abuse and pain
When faith in honesty
Is about to be lost
Acts of goodwill misunderstood
Is it worth staying embittered
Trapped in the cage of solitude?
Trust your mother
That she would die for you
Trust your father
That he will protect you anytime
Trust your children
That they will keep your repute
Trust your friends
They ain’t gonna let you down
10. DER MORDSCHLAG / GERMANOPHOBE II
The mankind always look for objects
To denounce defame
Cowards hidden in safety
Of anonymous mass
Enchanted by own perfection,
Holier than thou
There always were targets
For aspersion, then and now
Ich bin Deutsch Ich bin ein mensch wie du!
Und unsere leben haben den selben wert
Ich bin Deutsch Ich bin ein mensch wie du!
Hör auf zudiktieren,
Wer wahr ist und wer nicht
Think before you make new enemies
Within own family
We are cleaning the same house
We all are living in
Never refuse learning from the wise ones
Do not despise your allies
We’re breathing same air as they breathe
Their blood is as red as yours
What a simple way to accusations
Such easy jumps to shallow conclusions
Creators of pointless enemies
Spooked by own nescience
Satisfying the sick desires
Hidden deep in every man
Let’s add fuel into fire
And see how it glows
Instead of searching for the symbiosis
Among people in the same boat
Pathologic obsession
With turning into ash
The hate is an acquired taste
We’re humans – humans like you!
And our lives have the same value
We’re humans – humans like you!
Stop dictating who’s and who’s not true
Germanophobe!
11. EPILOGUE
Life gives no second chances.
The one we live is the only one we have and will ever have.
Remember that every single morning when you wake up to do your best
To make your life and this world at least a bit better.
Become your own “Whitecrow”.
12. TOO DARK TO SHINE / TOO YOUNG TO DIE
With a desperate desire
We wanna reach higher and higher
Spent too much time
Waiting for the truth,
Staying alone and nobody’s home
Know the pain of the pure despair
And still all senses detect it’s near
Some feel its life seem to shrink,
Some starting to yell
And their voice grows and grows
Nowhere wind blows
No more stuck here with you!
To push my youth
To serve my age
More miles to go
Head bared to snow
Scared of the change
Scared of the unknown,
What is it makes me beat so low?
With sleep I give my powers away
And shall I take a thing so blind
Upon the threshold of my mind?
A hollow form with empty hands…
With a desperate desire
We wanna reach higher and higher
Spent too much time
Waiting for the truth,
Staying alone and nobody’s home
Know the pain of the pure despair
And still all senses detect it’s near
Some feel its life seem to shrink,
Some starting to yell
And their voice grows and grows
The night that covers me,
All years that
I wasn’t refusing reality
Makes me to hear this sound
Forevermore
13. HUMANIZED
