My angel, in you I revelled
In lust, complete and content
On bended knees I prayed
Our love would never end

Injustice in its most poetic form
Can never attempt to explain
The torture and torment I felt when
My queen left me on the bleakest of days

Dethroned by the splendour of your beauty
The cunning of your cruelty
Fallen angels weep

I was immortal then
Glorious and exulted
Removed from heaven's sight
On my knees once again, but not praying

The sun has set on this desolate place
The chill of the air in my bones
Night is a shelter in which I find rest
But when I open my eye's I'm alone

The candle that signifies life and lust
Briefly faltered but then took flame for us
Enshrouded in darkness the only light
Flickered and died - day turned to night

I'll beat my hand on the pitiless wall
Despair once again will be mine
My thoughts of you locked in the shadows
As black as my heart
Again I call your name in vain

Beseeched you kissed you fallen one
Am I to be cursed by the glaring son
In great halls we danced for life
The snow fell gently the seasons torment me
Gales of passion
Dried my tears

Let it fester let it swell
Let it manifest your personal hell
I can see and be crowned
A blinded fool I am bound

Dying I languished
