Once a child but now of age

Walking the wastelands behind my eyes
See the scars that were left behind
Mountains created by a thousand lies

Retrieving deep within my mind
The paradise where I was led astray

Only some of us are still alive
Horses running, swords towards the sky
Steel through bone, a tormented cry

I feel the rush in my veins

The smell of battle brought on the field

A source of light, the righteous one
