1. AT THE GARDEN’S GATES

Look around, behold the trees in this garden
They're growing bigger and bigger every day
It must feel soothing to rest your sunburns in their shade
To pick their fruit, to take a break

You like it here
I can tell it by the way you stare at spreading grapevines
Breaking under their own weight
The easiest thing - finding shelter from the wind among them
The wine tastes better in here

Tell me now why it has to be like this
That death inspires you to live
That only a plague makes you wish well to your fellow men
At night you desperately try to save remains of a day

You love it here! Yet so freely broke the garden's law
Relished satiating sour wine, wretched rotten crops
With anxiety in heart, longing for the desert, howling
Ready to escape so

Explain to me why it has to be like this
(How else could it be?)
That death inspires you to live
(How else could it be?)
That only a plague makes you wish well to your fellow men
(The youth does not want)
At night you desperately try to save remains of a day
(What an old age can no longer have)
Like a fool looking for all things lost in the past
(I confused health with impermanence)
You'll die embittered, vengeful, broken and resigned at last
(Mistaken joy with righteous life's essence)
The least I can do is to make it clear
I feel compelled to let you know the winter's nearly here

It's been a while now since I've seen a single bee in here

2. POETRY DOESN’T WORK ON WHORES

Weight of the negligence
Doused with ill-intent
Stone-blind march to the heart of depravity
Vicious mind equals vile needs

Void between the hearts of the living
Cold dire space
Purity tied to pole, then set on fire
By garbage empty shell

Desecration of a bond
Trust deprived of essence
Turned towards the unsettling ways
To reject, disrespect
Bleeding heart, bleeding mind
To burn its eyes, burn their color
Wreck its spirit, kill them all
Won't forget, we won't forgive
Hope that flames soon knock on your door
Poetry doesn't work on whores

Circles on sand spiral out of the area
Increasing discomfort zone renders inferior
Dismay feeds on darkness resembling no home
Hope the things you need most end up burnt to the bone
Hope to god all your loved ones turn back on you when you're hurt

Desecration of a bond
Trust deprived of essence
Turned towards the unsettling ways
Hope that flames will soon knock on your door
Poetry doesn't work on whores

3. BRIGHT CONSTELLATIONS

All the demons are here
And blood's all over the floor
Stop, look what you've done
Damn social misconceptions boil underneath my skin
Everyone I know eventually become surreal
Hence reclusion, the only choice I'm left with here
Bright constellations! Shine all over me!

It might make no difference to all but me
Though you should pay some attention to the bearer of her misery

Lunacy of all involved against the fury of a decent man
Common sense of the decent man against the fury of fire within

Why, why are you so opposed?!
Wrong, everything's wrong
Sit! This is now your home
I hate when you repel the good things I have in store
At least let's pretend you respect me, an anchor I could hold onto
'Cause everytime you speak and mock me and pull out my hair...
Keep provoking me and I swear to god I'll pull out hers

Lunacy of all involved against the fury of a decent man
Common sense of the decent man against the fury of fire within

Everyone I love eventually become this entity
I loathe when they turn me into a toy
Toy they stop playing with when they're even slightly bored

May bright constellations allow you to feel their shine
When you won't let me be me, nor won't let me stay calm
You make me feel like this bitch
I keep locked in a box underground
For two hundred and eighteen days
Can't you see them shining bright all over us right now?!
From the blackest valley to the brightest sun and back
But now we go straight to hell

4. HERE BE DRAGONS

Easily, it woke you from deep sleep
Impeding your breath with its paw, forcing to stay awake
Enraging you, making you want to crash mirrors with your fists
To knock that pathetic reflection
A dread in your eyes and the subconscious hunch

That someone lied to you
Told you the dragons didn't exist

The dragon eclipsed the morning sun
Taking the world's color and splendor
Filled it with angst
Revulsion and hatred to what is yours
Leaving you aimless, purposeless
Exhausted, distraught with throbbing thought that

That someone lied to you
Someone told you that dragons did not exist
Feeding you with worldly wisdom
Bedtime stories designed to sleep tight
To stay with closed eyes

A day will come when pitch black cover crown the sky
When foreign armies will gather at your kingdom's gates
When your brothers start plotting against you
It will come

On his massive wings it will soar above you
When the sunset shines in golden scales
It will strike with great hunger for violence
It will strike with no mercy in heart

A single blow turning boundless kingdoms into dust
Puts out candles, a force that shatters hopes for life
A single blow's enough to wipe out your paper legions
Before they even realize

And you, the king, naked, alone
You will declare you knew all along
You heard and felt its existence for years
When under your bed there's the one you should fear

Slay the dragon now!
Slay the dragon now!

Slay, slay it now!

5. LETTERS TO MR. SMITH

Let me see your eyes, smith
Bottomless, vivid and sharp
The lighthouse of bright thought
Wrapped in raddled coverall
They want to keep us blind
Shapeless rags, deluded dolls
That riot against those things
The rights they make and pose

Among the ocean of eyeless
'Me' turned to 'us' that's dead
The eyes disclose the crime
That crime, it's in your head

Let me see your 'I', smith
The 'I' that doesn't exist
Identity wiped out
From anthems, poems, dreams and speech
They want our heads stay dormant
Like a desolate, soulless corpse
That burn the great, rainless fire
Only when they bring the storms

Among the flock of the I-less
Flattened, unified to stay still
'My' that'll never be 'our'
The body, a temple of will
Among the ocean of eyeless
The lighthouse of bright thought
The eyes disclose the crime

Rats will never eat the one
Despite they're half way through
As long the one who's in the cage
As long that one is you
Rats will never eat the one
Despite they're half way through
As long the one who's in the cage
As long that one is you

We all know the truth, smith
We all know the end
The world keeps on spinning again
Again and again
We all know the truth, smith
We all know how it ends
The boot awaits polished
But you, you own the face

They will never break the one
Despite the gear is half way through
As long the one who's on the wheel
As long that one is you
Rats will never eat the one
Despite they're half way through
As long the one who's in the cage
As long that one is you

6. LET THE LIGHT IN

One more, it's just another band and one more verse
Harsh lines of another track in front of you
Resonating with the pretense you make
Bold, strong, uncompromising
Like a book you die to read
Like a place you crave to be
Like a thing you must have but don't really know why
Don't really know why

It's just another song of one more band you listen to
A silent pack of enigmatic mugs with angry eyes
Staring sharply at the same mug you wear
Ominous, seditious, insolent
Bold like a man you want to be
Like a role you want to fit in
Like a mask you still wear but don't really know why
Don't really know why

The truth is it's not all about you
Learn how to acknowledge the strife
There's more to this world than you-centric self
Your books, your places, your things
Truth, not only about you
Learn to acknowledge the strife
There's more to this world
Than you might ever grasp

This world is also my world,
The space I invite you in
The door to my room I open
Shyly, I let the light in

You won't step inside
Won't get into this world
You won't get inside
Because you don't have to
Because you don't want to

The truth is it's not all about you
Learn how to acknowledge the strife
There's more to this world than you-centric self
Your books, your places, your things
Truth, not only about you
Learn to acknowledge the strife
There's more to this world
Than you might ever grasp

But it's just another one you won't read
Yet another one you won't even read

7. SIDES OF DEFENCE

Sad people who want the change
They want to change the world
Planting flags on the ruins
The ruins of their homes
Blowing the ashes of cathedral halls
Libraries and castles
Unable to build
Build anything new

They gave me a stone
Like a candy wrapped in guilt
Covered bomb with profanities
‘Throw it! With anger in heart and call for peace on your lips!’

Nihilists that decide
They decide what’s important
Describing the pettiest things
With the greatest of words
Their mouths full of gibberish
Noise, nonsense
Want to crumble the knives
The blades of our tongues

They let the snakes to our bedrooms
Looking for foes among their fathers
Accusing themselves and the world
For which they were not prepared at all

Which side are you on?

They divided the whole world into left and right
Then they marked it with colors, crossed it with lines
Those who are not with us those are against us
And the evil is on the other side of the fence

Which side are you on?
Which color is yours?

8. THE BORDERS OF OUR LANGUAGE ARE NOT THE BORDERS OF OUR WORLD

She said, 'Great fires eat up Babylon
A dream come true for undertakers and worms
It came sooner than the book has foretold'
He just shrugged
'There's not enough space left in the tower
Breaking the dam might save our home, but we'll drown
Is it the time when we kill to survive?'
She broke down

'Flames start to reach higher located areas
People are fighting over last piece of space
Why did the entire world choose to ignore us?'
She's thrown her hands in the air
While he just stood there
And as they witnessed her world falling apart
She started to yell

Why?
This is not my war
Why do I reap what was sown?
These are not my sins
I kneel where I used to dance
On a burnt black floor beneath my feet and I pray
What have we done to meet our end just now?

He said, 'I don't know who put a match to it
All those involved, they're unknown to me
Save me your outrage, it won't work in here'
'I can't be bothered by your misery
Minutes ago I did not know that you're real
Whatever problem you are selling
I'm not buying it'

No!
This is not my war
Why would I even care?
These are not my sins
I know the monsters breathe the same air we breathe
They always did, forever will
But they'll never frame me in what they've done to you

At some point the world stops caring
Fed up with pointing fingers and guilt
Starvation, mass murder
One day we'll give up for good

Until then we'll keep killing off undertakers, worms and the arsonists

'In a world where stands on what's right don't reflect each other
I concede, these words sound all the same to me'
