1. ANGER RISING FROM THE NUMBNESS

A life dragged through the dirt,
Disappearing to cease the terror,
I dissolve in the corner of an empty room
confining my thoughts to a shallow chamber
In the back of my mind,
Nothing more than dust,
Dust that seeps into the brain.
A seething taste of resentment,
Overpowering, yet unable to flee the shackled chambers
Of ones mind,
Muted in agony,
Numbness enshrouds my pale body.
