1. LONG WAY, SILK ROAD

Red sunrise,
New sceneries spreading wide before me.
Golden sands,
Like a sea, yet silent and still…
Long, torrid days,
Hot dry winds and no water in sight.
Leave the world,
The last city gates behind…
Leave them all,
For the timeless Sea of Death.
On we ride,
Towards the realm of silk,
Mirage of gold.

Far are the battlefields of Alexander,
And the blue waves of Caspian sea,
Far are the turquoise halls of Samarkand,
And the high valleys of Pamir.
The only sound, the echo of my inner voice,
The only drive, the wonders lying beyond.

Cold, moonless nights,
The light of stars grazing silent, grey dust.
Nothing in sight,
Beyond the flickering flames of bonfires.
The northern winds
Lifting veils of sand, leave you deaf and blind…
Have i lost my way?
Curse the day I chose to travel the ancient Road!
