Dead wood conformed

The forests thinned and weak

We've raped our mother
It seems that oedipus was true
We ravaged all that we knew
The earth will have revenge

Wood
Soil
The roots entangle with the earth
A tragic last embrace
We rip them from their homes
Leaving empty root holes
The wooded genocide
A crime that we can't hide
But those same roots
Will turn against us
Ensnaring
Dragging us down
When we've destroyed ourselves
The roots entangle with our buildings
Triumphant new embrace


3. SNOWCAPPED

Snowcapped mountains
Looming over cities
Majestic peaks
Covered in frozen water
The waters once
Abundant in these lands
Will be gone
The desert will rule
Once again
No rain
No snow
Just drought
And sorrow
All of this consumed by man
Rivers run dry in this land
