2. THE ASSASSIN

Alone in the tower where windows are closed
Lives a man who they fear

Trapped by cruel fate
By an oath he has sworn
Bound to the darkness though his soul still longs for light

His eyes still seek the truth
In the things that are black
But inside his soul
The burning light is back

Across the rooftops
Knife in his hands
Black as the shadow of the night

As silent as the wind
He moves from roof to roof
Until he sees the man
Of whom he's looking for

King's faithful servant
Grinding his knife
In his dark chamber he awaits for the night

Black heart, black mind
But the deed must be done
To kill the victim of his king's crooked lies

Nyt puiden marssi viimeinen jo alkaa
