Three oracles had spoken
Calling me the king hereafter
My lady would hear nothing
After dinner with it’s laughter
You cannot cleanse my darling
These things that we are soon to do
I hear the sisters calling
Fortune shines on me and you

Is this a dagger
I see before me
The handle turning towards my hand
I am the killer
To be the ruler
Forever bound by her demands

Ascending with the morning
Took the throne without delay
I sent his children running
So that this scene would not replay
Once more unto the feasting
The spectre at the table
Though no one else could see him
In terror I was able

Oracles said no man born
Of a woman was my downfall
This said the bloody child
So soldiers stormed the great halls
I face the reckoning
Death signifies nothing
Come now to topple this false king
