Disillusioned with this world we long for purpose
But our hearts are hardened towards truth

And we find meaning in all that's worthless
Leaving ourselves disenchanted and empty-handed

A messenger has come
A light has dawned
And hope is resurrected

And willingly, we blind ourselves
How long will it take until we break

The hour of judgement is near
And the time of choosing is now


2. LOVE

Do you and I even want this anymore
Or have we chosen to ignore everything that we once were
Dreams of lasting forever seem to have faded far away

Will life exist apart from the comfort of this
Will life go on now that our love's so wrong

3. ENSLAVED

An agonizing choice to make she finally gives in

8. PARADOX

We all know that you look over your shoulder

But really just really how good is good enough

Of course I'll go to heaven you exclaim

Slaves of irrelevant destruction
Where sleep comes easy and we find no rest

Sleep and distance will separate
As dreams dreamt yesterday dissipate
Lingering memories taunt me tonight
A forever was the promised plight

Answer the higher call saving our planet is the future after all

Worn and crippled you mirror the life they will never know
