1. SEWN LIPS PREACHING TO DEAF EARS

Rise, Dead man.
We are the ones who stand
Against the lies and scare tactics.
We see through your stained-glass ideals of theology.
We are the ones who are
Empty vessels longing to bear what they may.
A building fire in our throats.
A light into the darkest
Regions of Hell.
Our only wish is to save them from
The Hell that they have brought upon themselves
From years of passing judgement on us.
Free.
Set free.
Tear the flesh from the broken bones.
Our eyes for the crows.
Corpses piled high in a feigned attept
to eclipse the blazing sun.
There is no fear in my heart.
We are unheard.
We are unseen.

2. THE EPIDEMIC OF HUMAN FALLACY

Raise your glass.
A toast to the last night of the lives we know
Everything will be torn down.
Wrath pours from their fingertips.
Envy and greed pump through their veins.
Desecrating and raping the sanctity
Of all that we believe.
Everything will be torn down.
This one goes out
To the body that might stand strong
Against the vile and the wicked.
Build your walls.
Build them high.
One by one wall fall to disease.
One by one we drop to our knees.
Raise your glass.
A toast to the last night of the lives we know
They broke your spirits.
Tore your morals to shreds.
Empty corpses assuming normal lives.
They've lived within our walls
And we never knew it
We always knew the dead would rise
But they've been here all along.
They walk among us.
Hell has been risen.
Death in living flesh
Raise your glass and rot away.

3. A PLEA FOR SOLACE

Our march goes on
Past the places we've grown to love.
I look into the eyes of my neighbor
And see the pain of a thousand years.
Heaven follows with us
But only through its plagues.
The rivers turn to blood
At our finger tips.
Famine overtakes us.
We seek death
But that is one comfort we'll never see.
The torment is unbearable
But we march on nonetheless
And heaven follows with us,
But only through its plagues.
No prayer can save us,
Death won't bless us here.
The cities crumble as we pass.
All that's left is persecution.
Step towards the throne,
Step towards His throne.
(Chant:) We await our judgment
We await our doom.

4. (A Little) PESTILENCE (Ain't Hurt Nobody)

All this hatred that's inside of me
Beats a message: "There is no hope left for us"
It cries out to you, the liar
Love was never alive here.
I can't wash this filth from my hands,
All of this that you put me through.
Your voice is laced with falsehoods,
A lie in every stitch.
Fabrications only take you so far,
Before you're stripped bare.
It must be hard to articulate
When half your face has rotted away
Exposing your mangled teeth
I am one with your murder.
I'm stripping your securities
Bone dulling the razor
I'm the last horseman
The last breath that you'll take.
I'm sorry, I once loved you.
But your history of constant betrayal
Has cost you everyone that ever cared
And I don't blame them,
I don't blame them.
So knock another one back for me,
God knows I need it too
But you'll never be prepared
For the hell I'll put you through.

5. AN ETERNITY SPENT SINKING

Search for me when the tides are low.
My body will have washed ashore by then.
This ship I've built
Is now my grave.
You always drag me down
One with these waves.
One hundred men
Dead on the deck
Their cries of terror
Forever haunt these waters.
No!
Father, forgive me!
Leviathan!
Oh, wretched being!
40 fathoms, lost to the depths
(40 fathoms below)
Bits of wood and broken dreams
Form a rotting mosaic on the water's surface.
O' is this the rapture?
A lifetime of blackened water.
The sailors' carcasses
Kiss the horizon as the sun sinks
And darkness claims those who remain.
The smell of blood marks us for death.
If only I had not strayed
So far from your hands.

6. THE GREAT ACCUSATION

"What is it you stand for?"
My hand upon stacked pages
Under an oath inscribed in
A heart not my own.
Before decrepit judge and jury,
So pure on the outside,
Only here can I see what they really are.
Their words spill out before me,
And my soul sinks like a thousand shipwrecks.
You may not speak against them.
You have no mouth in this court room.
Stray from their laws and surely you will be punished.
What is it I stand for?
I stand for those who could not.
I plead for understanding.
I can hear them shouting:
"Stand down, blasphemer!"
I stand accused, place the blindfold.
The bullets of self righteousness will never miss.
My body opened and spilling gore,
I paint a portrait of retribution onto your soil.
What a glorious example the Church has made of me.

7. AGE OF FILTH

Humanity will never step forth from
This blackened eternity of degradation.
A deeper shade of sludge washes
This city, collapsed from within
And our integrity crumbles like acid washed stone,

My stomach turns at the sight of the half dead race
My mouth and nose spew bile.
I am stricken with disgust.
Welcome to an age of filth.
Welcome to your days of reckoning.
Welcome to Plague City.
Welcome to the eternal rot.
We've closed our eyes and tried to create,
And it's best if we never open them again.

8. A SERENADE FOR THE LOST

In the dim light of a flickering candle,
Our shadows become spiders.

They want us to dance with them forever.

And from outside my window,
the bats disguise themselves as the city lights.

And the rats as beautiful people.
I guess once you've gone,
You can never really come back.

Love hangs butchered from my ceiling
It drips steadily on my face and into my veins.
My flesh has failed.
I find that in trying to destroy love,
It has destroyed me.
