Marking this place,

Challenge the devil,
And make a fool out of him,
In league with Emrys,
Keeping such company too,
As the Green Man,

A child of nature known by a thousand names,
Shaping the earth and water with his divine games,
Bring back the spirit of the elder creed again,
Man after Loki's own heart,
But only one's bane,
The devil's bane,

Signing the country,
In the most permanent ways,
Still etched upon this land,
Only will ever be unmade,
When his mark on our minds is gone,

Leave a mark in earth and stone,
Once a story has been told,

Breathe the air across the country,
(Lead at last into the sea)
Tell a tale still when you breathe no more,
(Words written in the ground)
Rest easy within our minds forever more,
