South Korean Progressive Metal veterans Lunar Legion have announced the release of their new full-length studio album, titled The Lasting Fire, scheduled for March 6, 2026 via the band’s own label, Moonlit Records.



Following their classic era and the release of Silent Aurora in the early 1990s, The Lasting Fire marks the band’s first album of entirely new material in decades, continuing their legacy rather than reviving it. The album moves away from the cosmic themes of their earlier works and instead focuses on time, memory, endurance, emotional distance, and the quiet strength that remains through change.



Musically, the record retains Lunar Legion’s Progressive Metal identity while presenting a more mature, restrained, and introspective sound shaped by experience and years of evolution.

The Lasting Fire will be the first Lunar Legion release to appear on their own imprint, Moonlit Records, marking a new chapter of artistic independence and complete creative control.
