Aprés le départ du leader d'Amaran, c'est au tour de Johanna de Pierre de quitter le groupe. Les fans et les médias sentaient venir cette mauvaise nouvelle, mais, n'osaient penser que cela se réaliserait. Malheureusement, l'annonce a été faite sur le site officiel du groupe :

Vocalist Johanna De Pierre has officially left Swedish progressive metallers AMARAN. Her official statement reads as follows: "Unfortunately, I have some bad news for you. I have decided to leave the band. The reason for this is that I have lost the commitment and ambition that it takes to drive a band forwards and me staying would only result in keeping the other guys back. I will definitely not give up singing, so you can still count on seeing me around in other contexts. I’ve had a great time with AMARAN, many wonderful memories, in particular all you people out there who have supported us, sent us e-mails, been there at our gigs. I'd like to say a big thank you to you guys .. and also to the other members of AMARAN, I’m sure they'll make something good out of this situation as well."

Espérons que le groupe ne splittera pas aprés ce nouveau coup dur, car il a encore énormément de choses à dire...
