A Declaration of Hate tour - Zlin stop

le Dimanche 04 Avril 2010, Zlin, Czech Republic

Carach Angren

This band is recently presenting their new album Death
Came Through a Phantom Ship. Starting with the first two songs of the album
Electric Voice Phenomena and The Sighting is a Portent of Doom, the band made a
perfect entrance even for the fans who hadn’t known them before. During short
half an hour Carach Angren played the new songs as well as those from their
first album, including a poem Phobic Shadows and Moonlit Meadows. The band’s
music is in general pretty much about effects and symphonic and keys passages
and I must say that the only problem was with too quiet keyboards, but even
this one was despatched after few songs. It is a pity that the band had only
thirty minutes, but maybe as is said in one of their songs “Christ has
forbidden to set sail on Easter Sunday” had a piece of truth in it and the
health problems had their reason.

Nefarium

This Italian black metal band isn’t that well known in
the Czech Republic, but it still could grab the attention of the audience and
brings many of the listeners in front of the stage. The image of the band as
well as their technical skills were on a really high level and since their music
is quite much inspired by the northern classic black metal, the people who went
to see only Dark Funeral could find something for them in Nefarium as well. The
band used the same thirty minutes as they could and I am quite sure that left a
good memory in the minds of those who didn’t left out their show.

Zonaria

The young yet famous Swedish band was simply amazing. The
choice of the songs was very witty and didn’t let anyone leave during the show.
It was entertaining, high quality and everything but boring. In other words, Zonaria
showed their best which was maybe even more than the most optimistic fans could
wait. The show was pure energy and I can’t imagine anyone who would be
disappointed.

Dark Funeral

This tour the band performs mainly the songs which the
public haven’t heard live before, the brand new ones as well as the ones which
you could have heard only on the albums before. And because the band’s creation
is in spirit of pure rage, it would be impossible for the band to choose any
wrong. And even despite the health problems which attacked the almost whole
tour crew and the artists, Dark Funeral managed to create a hour and a half
long show with a very professional facility and didn’t let anything to get in
their way to prove that they truly deserve a status of legends.

The whole night could appeal as a mockery to the date
in which it took place but honestly, there was no one who would mind it.
