Sickbag was formed during the midpart of 2003 by Julien Henri (vox), Francois Roux-Vecchiali (drums), Diego Janson (guitar), Julien Divert (guitar) and "Big" Joackim Piquot (bass).

Six months after their debut, the band has recorded their first Vomiting Reflex demo, and started to play at local clubs.

In 2004, A Perfect World Of Shit was recorded and received a great feedback from audience and medias. This second EP gave new show opportunities and a first collaboration with the french independent label Deadcirkus Records (Gastric Burst, Yattai, Mesrine...)
Four new songs were recorded at the Studio Cave (amanda woodaward, gun's of brixton, birthdecline...) and put on a 4 way split CD called Da grind released on Deadcirkus Records with 3 other french Grindcore bands Disaster, Elysium and Desecrator.

year 2006 a collaboration with Deformeathing Productions polish label has given the opportunity to the band to record their first fullengh album. For the first time they entered a professionnal studio called loko studio for 8 days of recording.
For promote the first full lengt sickbag went on his first est europe tour with Eternal Bleeding (slv) and Deformed (pol) in poland, hungary, slovakia.

Sickbag play at obscene extreme festival (cz) with Dismember (swe), Sinister (Nl), Squash Bowels (Pol), Cripples bastards (it).
and participate at Metal heads mission open air in Ukraine with bands such as Holy Moses (D), Tiamat (Swd), Dead Infection (Pol) and many more. Also Antitrend fest in brno with mucopus, pigsty, ingrowing, mincing fury...

In 2007 our former drummer Francois left the band for musical dissenssion. He was replaced as session drummer by Gaël Féret from french metal prog band "Misanthrope", and after by johann as fulltime drummer.

August 2007 ukrainian label DAC prods release a reedition of our first EP called Destructure & Disgrace"
