Lesra is a thrash band from Umea, a town in the north of Sweden. The band was formed 2001 by Erik Lindberg (guitar/vocals) and Per Johannesson (lead guitar), They later recruited Daniel Kapstad on drums. In early 2002 we recorded our first demo, containing three songs. About two months after the demo was finished one of Daniels friends Stefan Johansson (bass) joined the band. It was at this point we knew what kind of music we wanted to play. In October 2003 Daniel left the band for personal reasons so we had to find a new drummer, about one month later the search was over and one of Stefans childhood friends (Robert Wiberg) joined the band.
