Biographie : In Tempus

IN TEMPUS has born in October 2003 created by David Reis, then Phantom Vision’s guitar player.

In the original form, both David Reis and Pedro Morcego, had concept a kind of sound much different from that they’re making until then, in Phantom Vision.

The intent, concept and the name of the band, has born like a need to alert human being about disdain for Nature and create a stronger link with the Earth.

Since the first Industrial Revolution, Men began to rule his way of live, on concepts based on anger, hate and agony with the others, without worry with all live.

IN TEMPUS it’s the contrary of all that.

The defense of the Iberian Wolf became a flag.

This flag became evident for us.

Acoustic instruments mixed with technology, was the form that we found to give a body to the concept.

The Portuguese recording company, THISCO shows some interest in our music, after including a song (Memorial) in their “ Thiscology “.

After lateness in the edition for several times, in order to get a better work, some lighting ideas appeared in 2005…

In that year, joined the band Elisabete Barros (vocals), Jorge Oliveira (Piano and Synths) and Pedro Antunes (Portuguese Guitar)

The band became a more acoustic sound like.

“Luna Sapiens“, at this time in production, has changed into a second stage.

The poet António Boieiro joined the band at the beginning of 2006, bringing with him an intervention component to the band.

With a scheduled for the CD and thinking about live acts and future work, Mário Amora ( Guitars ) and André Marques ( Drums and Percussion ) joined the band in September 2006

In October 2006 joined the band André Ventura (Portuguese Bag Pipes)…

In April 2007 the band work gets more intense. In order to suport that, Pedro Morcego leave the band, and Lavínia Roseiro plays now the Bass Guitar.

Since April 2007 we are preparing a new CD. It is called DRUÍDAS DO TEMPO and it will be totally recorded during the first six month 2008. Soon we will have a new song available
