El Viejo

The band of heavy rock " El Viejo ", form in May, 2001 under the name of " Ningún Día ". And his initial members were: Oswaldo Carlos,(Bass), Pepe Ramos (Drums), Javier Mosquera (guitar) and Edgar Lay (voice).

From March until October 2002, it is that the band records his first Cd, in the study David Sound of David Echevarria, relying on Erick Falcón as sound recroding. This first material was including 11 songs. The art of the Cd was made by Pepe Ramos and Oswaldo Carlos and goes out to the light already in January, 2003 with a series of presentations.
" El Viejo " suffers a series of changes, principally by personal motives, occuring a series of incomes and exits in the band, as those of Eduardo Tamaris, Edgar Lay, Luis Pajuelo, Miguel Angel Cervantes (vocalists), Fernando Mortis, Denis Yamasato and Jesus Benito (in the drums) and finally the exit of one of the founders of the band Oswaldo Carlos (bass) by personal motives of trip and search.
For these motives, and not having found a replacement for the bass,the band enters recess practically during the whole year 2004, and " El Viejo manager Héctor Páez and the founding guitarist Javier look for new musicians for the project.

In this moment there is contacted Sonqo Ramirez and Jose Mesia (ex-Sendra) to recapture the band. Jesus Benito joins both musicians in the Drums (ex-Hostile), with what the quartet returns to assemble in January, 2005, the group begins to test again and has a series of presentations during the year, the drummer must travel for personal motives and the band looks for replacement and in August, Benno Kleeberg joins the drums (ex--Enslave) the tests(essays) and the presentations being recaptured this way.
From January, 2006 one begins to record the second material (during so much time ) having stopped recording and mixing in November, 2006, for what the second material give this one to going out in February, 2007, by what a series of presentations are prepared.
