Deranged have been around since 91 and they recorded and released their one and only official demo tape, the 4 songs "…The Confessions of a Necrophile" which brought them a 7" single deal with the Japanese label Obliteration Rec entitled "…The Confessions Continues". It certainly gave the band a name in the world-wide death metal underground scene. Deranged were then busy writing new material for their first mini CD "Architects of Perversions", released by the Spanish label Repulse Rec., which basically just helped the band to keep spreading the name all around the world as being one of the most brutal acts the scene had to offer.

They eventually hooked up with the German label MMI Rec in 1994 to release the 2 songs 7" single, "Upon the Medical Slab". At that time Deranged were supposed to do their second mini CD, the 4 song "Sculpture of the Dead" , originally scheduled to be released on the German label Invasion Rec. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond the band´s will, it never happened and the album didn´t see the light of day until Oct. 95 as a bonus disc to the first 2000 copies of the band´s first full length CD, "Rated-X" on Repulse Rec. "Rated-X" received surprisingly roaring response.

The band shot their first video clip which was displayed numerous times on MTV in Europe, VIVA TV, Z-TV, and lots of cable channels in the States… In 1997 and the band once again entered the studio ,after some intense touring all over Europe along with a few changes in the line up, to record their highly requested second full length CD "High on Blood" which received even better response than their previous output.

Deranged did around 45-50 shows all around Europe in 1998 and they will with no doubt do more this year along with the release of their third full length "III" which is said to be one of the sickest, most brutal and most intense disc ever released.

With all that exciting background, Deranged have in 1999 received an almost "cult" alike status among the world-wide death metal scene as being one of the most brutal and intense death metal band man has ever experienced. The kind of band that might destroy themselves, but they´ll never sell out!!!

Deranged released their following album ´Deranged´ in May 2001. It received critical acclaim from the press worldwide. ´Deranged´ delivers the guts a plenty, UNCOMPROMISING!
