Biographie : Advent (ITA)

The band was founded in 1998 by Giorgio Mula and Riccardo Anzaldi with the name of Ras-Algheti, that was changed the following year into Advent.
In 2001 the band recorded its first demo, From A Distant Landscape, featuring six tracks of symphonic black metal marked by the use of synths.
In 2003 Advent released their second demo, Valholl, developing their musical style influenced by different kinds of extreme music. The Valholl tracks open the first studio album The Dawn, produced in 2003 by Scottish label Golden Lake: it consists of nine songs for over 45 minutes of music.
Advent underwent many line-up changes that affected its activity and inspiration, but always influenced by the extreme incarnations of heavy music (black and death metal: Dimmu Borgir and Cradle of Filth, Dissection and Dark Tranquillity, Borknagar and Vintersorg…) along with strong dedication to lyrics.

Advent are now composing new songs – already six: When the Dark Rises; La Luminosa Notte dell'Anima (An Infiltration of Evil); Come Inside (the Darkness); Advent Comes (Crimson); Vento Divino (ClocKworKz); Ascension –: the first three tracks have been recently recorded on a self-produced promo-CD, entitled The Dark Is The Light, of which here's a copy attached, with the aim of getting the opportunity to sign a dignified deal and spread adequately the AdventMusic virus.
