Starting in 1999, they are one of the only bands around that write and record their music on the spot. They live to offend and are surprised that they haven't been arrested or closely watched by the FBI from some of the lyrics they write. They are Abortion-X.

They were signed to Förblödna Records in late 2007. Förblödna Records is a small underground label, releasing Abortion-X and other local bands material around the metal scene. All of Abortion-X's older titles have been re-released on Förblödna Records as special editions with different cover art and bonus tracks.

They were originally called 'Abortion', but they realized soon after that there was several other bands called that. So, they added the 'X' on to change it slightly.

Abortion-X release 2 singles from every album they write and give them out for free, like promo material.

Front man, Sreym, recorded 2 albums by himself; 'Bloodcunt' (2007) and 'Dark Molesters From Hell' (2008). Drums, guitar and vocals we all done by him, all of which was written off the top of his head. No Abortion-X material is pre-written.

Next year, in 2009, they have plans to release a ultimate box-set celebrating 10 years of Abortion-X, including a DVD with film clips and interviews.

"2008 will be the year of albums..." says guitarist/singer Sreym, "...we're gonna go crazy with writing albums, with 4 already lined up."
