Now signed with Molusco Discos, Legen Beltza builds upon their usual style of bay area thrash (although they are from Spain), with more melodic elements that serve to punctuate every moment of fury. They've added some technical guitar licks that sound similar to Tommy Talamanca, of Sadist' which stutter with distortion. They've also added some flashy guitar solos that remind me of those by John Petrucci, of Dream Theater. It sounds like they've taken some lessons from some of the old Exodus song books. The album's title, Need to Suffer, is aptly named with songs like; Deathpedimic, Suicide, and Death Control.

Vaporized establishes a "take no prisoners" pace, with its high octane shredding. It's got some Exodus influence. Deathpedimic and Midnight Meat Train thrash fastly, sounding something like Testament. Adans Children, Church Burning, Death Control, and Mutants From The Red Hill, all thrash at a speedy pace with song structures that are similar to Exodus. They've got chunky bass patterns followed by razor sharp guitar riffs. Suicide is another song that thrashes rapidly, yet a little bit rougher, and sounds like Kreator meets Accept.

Global Dictatorship is an incredible song, with its squawk and shred guitar hooks, that are executed with a surgical precision that can be compared to some of the finest guitar work by Rock 'N' Rolf Kasparek of Running Wild. Much of the song structure is like Exodus. This song is the biggest gem on the album.

Amaierarik Ez Da, is an instrumental, and also the grand finale of this album. It's led by very heavy bass riff shifting and complemented with some very skilled guitar solos. This song sounds technical and is on the fringes of progressive metal.

Need to Suffer, finds this band evolving closer to a sound of their own. Yes, the elements of bay area thrash still remain, but the band is focusing on more of a technical thrash delivery. There is still plenty of melody to maintain a solid compositional structure in all of their songs. Every song jams. This is an excellent album from an up and coming thrash band.
