Liste des groupes Thrash Metal Tyranex Extermination Has Begun

It seems that Sweden will become one of the best upcoming metal forces. After Enforcer, Wolf and Portrait, Tyranex will show their strength too through their first album Extermination Has Begun. They are not kidding and despite the fact that they play something old which has been heard by many bands till now they do it on the right way.

Their album carries something particular and this is that they combine thrash with N.W.O.B.H.M. A clue which will take our memories back to 1981 when Venom did the same thing even if they had different affects. By the first riff of “The weak strike back” till the last rhythm of “Extermination Has Begun” you will not get bored at all, on the contrary the will to hear it again and again will be daily, especially in case you are a lover of thrash metal. The last song “Extermination Has Begun” will be one of your favorites, because of its riffing which changes in some parts and of course because of its excellent closing, where Linnea takes the first prize for her magic and accustomed vocals and her “AAAAAAHHH” light screams.

By hearing that Tyranex’s singer is a woman I ‘m sure that you will think of Holy Moses in the beginning and after you will wonder whether her vocals are physical or not. Well, she sings just she has to do in a thrash band, she is “armed and dangerous” in some parts and melodic, as she can be, in some others. “As the cross crumbles” and “Tormentor” are the two of the songs which prove the great voice she has. But apart from her voice she is also playing all the guitar parts and solo now, because during the recordings of the album Martin Zettmar was the fourth member of the band and played some of guitar parts.

In here you will find many characteristics of big names like Kreator, Destruction and Iron Maiden, you find it strange right? Just check “Dreamland” a song whose basic riff sends away to this one of “Phantom of the opera” from Maiden, or its melody which reminds you of those wonderful days back to ‘80s, but the marriage of traditional thrash and N.W.O.B.H.M. the band does is so perfect that there are no margins for complaints, you just appreciate what you hear that moment. There is not any bad song, some may be less good than the others, but what can you say about “Awaking the dead” or “The curse”, about their solo? Attack and fire to every obstacle.

If there was someone a week ago who would tell me that there can be another new band described as the future of traditional thrash metal I would not believe in his words, but now after listening so many times this album I know that Tyranex can be on stage side by side with Suicidal Angels and be proud of their first achievement which will be the beginning of a great career. Guys be ready, because the extermination of the thrash parade has begun again! Where the hell did I put my belt of bullets?
