Chronique @ Goatsodomizer666

09 Mai 2007
This is the long awaited debut album by Domini Inferi, one of those very few bands that actually blend the best of Old School Black Metal, Industrial and Ritualistic Soundscapes together.
Names like Beherit, Profanatica, Hellhammer, Brighter Death Now and Abruptum pop into my mind but somehow it all seems to have develloped into an original and sickening style.
Everything is performed by only one member called Hellchrist Xul who is also behind cult Black Metal bands Funeral Winds and Haatstrijd. Domini Inferi is almost like a soundtrack to a horror movie, creating somehow catchy Black Metal tunes that suddenly change into disturbing noise or dark atmosheres.
The album starts off with the sounds of flies that almost seem to come out of your speakers, then the ultra slow track "Devil Cult" starts in, with sickening screams of torture on heavy riffing and deep pounding drums.
The album also possesses some tracks that probably belong to the fastest and most extreme Black Metal tracks ever, by the usage of a drumcomputer that seems to give 666 beats a minute and loads of distortion, screaming guitars and demonic yells over it, "Under His Will" and "In the name of Satan" are for sure competitive to the tracks on Immortals "Battles in the North" album, it takes Black Metal to new extremes!
A video clip is also provided on this CD-extra, with an exclusive industrial ritualistic track and one of the most blasphemic, perverse and bloody video's I've ever seen.

I recommend this album to all true Devil Worshippers around the globe!
