The Shiver is a young band, with the intention to make it in the music world.

The band were born in 2005 when Faith (singer and composer) joined forces with Finch (drummer) to create a new project.
After some promotion of the first demo "Shade's Changing" Carlo Bellotti noticed the band and decided to include The Shiver in Alkemist Fanatix Europe's roster.

In 2007 The Shiver signed a contract with UK Division Records (UK) that released their Debut Album "Inside" in January 08 with a worldwide distribution and promotion.
After many Italian gigs the band was ready for the first tour abroad, so they played the first tour in the UK. English people immediately liked The Shiver's music and local newspapers talked about them (The Guardian, The Chronicle).
After that, the band received some amazing feedback from the music press, appearing on many music Magazines and Webzines.
The band has been featured on Rocksound (UK), Gothic Beauty (USA), and Big Cheese (UK)

The songs "Edge of Atmosphere" and "Symbiosis" were chosen for the Rocksound, Fireworks and Big Cheese samplers and broadcasted on many web radios.

During summer 2008, Faith composed new songs with the help of Finch at the drums. The new sound is fresh, dynamic and marked by a particular style and they decide to book the studio and record a new album.
In October the band was again on tour, this time for some special Halloween gigs in London, Manchester and Liverpool. In December '08, The Shiver began the recording session at Westlink Studio (PI, Italy). Faith and Finch cooperated, for this album, with Alessandro Paolucci (Raw Power) as producer of the album and bass player, while the guitars are played by Stefano Tocci (Incoming Cerebral Overdrive) - they played Faith's songs and contributed to songs arrangements.

"A New Horizon" will be out soon with Reality Entertainment in the US and Aural
Music/Dreamcell11 worldwide, published by Warner Chappell Music Worldwide.

During 2009 the band is again in UK and Belgium with the "A New Horizon Tour", getting a lot of positive feedbacks about the new staff.

The Shiver performed the new songs during Acoustic Showcases also. The experience is great, and the intimate, soft version sounds really good, so 5 of these tracks will be recorded and featured in an Acoustic EP.

In September 2009 Reality Entertainment started the online distribution for "A New Horizon" and the band got new fans and many enthusiastic reviews by the music magazines and webzines.

During Spring 2010 Faith and Finch played around Europe as sessionists with other projects.

03/09/2010: "A New Horizon" is finally out in Europe and in other 21 countries with Aural Music/ Dreamcell11 and the band perform in a special acoustic showcase during the Release Party with many guests.

During the winter, the band will release an acoustic version of the song "Through This Cold Water", produced in collaboration with Vincenzo Mario Cristi (Vanilla Sky) plus it's videoclip.

19/11/ 2010 "A New Horizon" is released and promoted by RoadRunner Records Benelux.

The band will start touring again in Europe during October and in the US by next year.
