Fat, urgent guitar rock driven by heavy bass and drums, led by raunchy vocals - that’s BASTARDO


The style of Bastardo is to be described as a mixture of Heavy- over Stoner/Desertrock to hard Bluesrock.

The current line-up has been rocking since 2005, constantly refining their sound a la Motörhead, Monster Magnet and Kyuss, without losing sight of their own style. BASTARDO’s dirty rock music likewise impresses journalists and fans. Even the Rock Hard magazine is convinced that this quartet, which can be located somewhere between rough hard rock, mighty metal and down-to-earth blues, will cause quite a stir in the future.

As BASTARDO’s songs and their sound are so unique their music cannot be easily pigeonholed. A wall of guitars and a rolling, driving rhythm topped off by striking vocals are the cornerstones of their music.

The performance of this four-piece band is highly energetic and lets no festival- or concertgoer stand still, let alone without banging their heads.

The first five-track demo CD was released in February 2006. The new album “Skip.The.Present” was released in November 2008 and has been exceptionally well received by its listeners.
