Assaulter is an italian thrash band and was founded, in Taranto, in 2007 by singer/bassist Enzo and guitarist Paolo. They recruited guitarist Fulvio, who had played with them before in another band. They also recruited a Drummer to complete the act.
The band immediately began to compose original songs and, In spring 2008, began to perform live shows, both in Taranto and out of town, obtaining many plaudits.
In October 2008 Fulvio was forced to leave the band for work reasons, his place was taken by Luca, young guitarist that increases the technical level of the band. Only a week later he faced his first live shows with the band. At the same time many problems with the drummer forced the band to find a temporary replacement for some live shows.
In march 2009 was recruited Rodolfo on drum, ex member the black metal band Funeral Oration, his power an technique on drums make the songs even more devastating.
This line-up continues to compose new songs and to perform live shows. In july 2011 they released their first EP (“Crushed by raging mosh”) that contains 6 tracks of old style speed thrash metal.
