Mandrake was a traditional heavy metal band formed in 1979 in Copenhagen by Ole Hamilton. The band released 3 demos until splitting in 1982 after the release of the 3rd demo when Ole was asked to join Witch Cross.Source : Ole Hamilton himself

-The "Pre-Mandrake Demo" was recorded in early 1979 when the band was in the process of choosing a definite band name. The name "Mandrake" was chosen shortly after these songs were recorded, hence the title "Pre-Mandrake Demo".

-Demo 1: "We Will Be Strong" later became the Witch Cross anthem "Rockin' The Night Away" when Ole Hamilton joined Witch Cross. "Alien Savage" also later appeared re-recorded on the debut Witch Cross album.

-Demo 2: The final Mandrake demo before Ole Hamilton joined Witch Cross.
