INFECT is side project of Lord RIMMON founded back in 1996. Rimmon is the only composer and plays all instruments. The band can't really be affiliated in a particular style cause influences are diverse and music can be as primitive and brutal as calm and technical. Thus inspirations could come from well-known bands such as Enthroned, Setherial, Enslaved, Evol or Dark Funeral and also from underground bands such as Open Grave, Frost or Seigneur Voland. So, INFECT has no limit of composition is totaly unreachable to (any kind of) critics. INFECT absolutly doesn't give a fuck to all mytho folklore of Lord Of The Rings and stupid black magic belief. Pentacle is for Rimmon the symbol of the music we play and nothing else.
Lyrics deal with concrete subjects through epic and war-like metaphors.
Nowadays, INFECT has realised a split demo (United To Conquer ) with Diamond Eyed Princess in 1998 on Aura Mystique. The First album “Blessed After Death” is out in October 2003, released by Aura Mystique. A 7” is planned under the banner of Söuth Metal Tyrants Frönt and the second album is in recording process, planned for the next year.
Rimmon had played in Seigneur Voland.
