James O'Ceallaigh is a metal musician from Cork, Ireland. He is also known as James Kelly. As a multi-instrumentalist, O'Ceallaigh has a talent of being able to play the guitar, drums, keyboard, and vocals. This is especially shown in his works in the black metal act Altar Of Plagues, which he started in 2006. He also has produced records such as "White Tomb" in 2009 and "Mammal" in 2011.
O'Ceallaigh also plays the drums in an Irish brutal death metal/grind act Grotesque Embalment under the moniker Mucopurulence Excretor. He formerly played the drums for bands such as folk black metal act Belinus and blackened death metal band Dypherim. He also did session drumming for sludge/doom metal band This Weary Hour in their 2008 demo entitled "The Shadow of Time."
