Mouais! Sauf qu'à l'origine c'était supposé être sérieux avec une vraie dimension pirate. Ils ont ensuite trouvé le filon à très peu de frais en faisant des chansons bien prout-prout tirelipinpon qui amusent les petits loups.
C'est devenu une constante dans les compositions de Christopher Bowes désormais, qui avait pourtant largement moyen d'exposer une musique ambitieuse et sincére. Mais l'appât du gain est plus fort que la prise de risque. Je parle aussi pour GloryHammer.

Je m'y connais pas trop en folk, mais j'aime bien des chansons un peu "concon" comme on dit, du type "vodka" de Korpiklaani ou des chansons d'Alestorm, ça détend et ça met la patate, ça fout de bonne humeur ! Après si on veut écouter des trucs plus sérieux ou mieux composés, c'est sûr que c'est pas le top, mais c'est rafraîchissant des titres avec lesquels tu te prends pas la tête

Très drôle en effet. Il y a même un des hymnes non-officiel écossais, chanté dans les stades, "Flower of Scotland" qui est à mourir de rire.

Je trouve aussi le Captain Morgan plus "sérieux" ou plus mature je sais pas, en tout cas y'a une atmosphère spéciale sur celui ci que j'ai du mal à retrouver par la suite, un appel à l'aventure, on s'y croit.. C'est un album que je me passe régulièrement, et le Seul que j'aime vraiment du groupe.

Bien qu'il y ait quelques chansons à boire, comme presque tous les groupes de folk soit dit en passant. La forte dimension guerrière qui ressort, le côté morbide, même s'il est bon enfant, font tout le charme de ce Captain Morgan.
On peut d'ailleurs faire une comparaison entre les textes de celui-là et ceux du dernier pour s'en rendre compte.

"Flower Of Scotland" avec un clavier tout kitch et des chœurs de mecs tonchés me fait sourire. Désolé.
Et puis des histoires de gars avec un crochet et une carte au trésor me rappellent invariablement  mon enfance et Robert Louis Stevenson.
Impossible donc pour moi de prendre ce groupe au premier degré tellement il étale de poncifs sur la piraterie. Il n'empêche que j'aime bien, ça ne change rien.

Tu m'excuseras, mais on est quand même très loin des niaiseries de reprises de Lazy Town ou de Taio Cruz.
Quant aux poncifs sur les pirates, c'est inévitable, ça n'en fait pas pour autant un groupe "parodique". Prend l'exemple de Running Wild.

Je n'ai aucune espèce d' idée de qui peut -être Lazy Town ou Taio Cruz. Et Running Wild, juste de voir leurs costumes, je suis plié en deux.

Lazy Town est une émission pour enfants islandaise diffusée en Europe, et notamment en Allemagne. Quant à Taio Cruz, c'est une très grosse légume de la pop britannique actuelle. Tu dois forcément connaître son Hangover (d'ailleurs repris) qui avait très largement innondé les ondes radios et les chaines de télé.




Tu n'as pas du voir ceux de Manowar dans ce cas...
