HEDONIST - Scapulimancy (Southern Lord Recordings, août 2025)
1e album en provenance du Canada. Changement de décor, Southern Lord Recordings label connu pour son penchant Doom/Drone metal, les formations qui sortent sur ce label sont loin du mainstream. HEDONIST propose un death sombre à l'image de sa pochette, une voix très grave et caverneuse, des grogrements de vieux démons au fond d'une grotte, dans une ambiance macabre et noir. Musicalement ça pose, entrainant, faisant penser à du death old school avec ces effets death thrash d'outre tombe et ses accélérations.

2e album du Canada. Un Death Metal groovy, d'un cimetière boueux, certe ne cherchez pas d'originalité, ici ça pose. Typé old school, cela accroche l'oreille très vite, ça fonctionne hyper bien.
 

Ma grosse attente de fin d'année avec le prochain Qrixkuor (7/11)

On reste en Angleterre avec Binah qui nous fait comme le précédent Qrixkuor soit un LP 2 titres de 20 min chacun. Sortie chez Osmose le 31/10.
