My first 'concert' (as in big show) was Disturbed headlining with All That Remains and being predecessed by the bands Skindred and Art of Dying. Don't care that these are Nu/Mallcore bands (Disturbed was still a pretty good band at that point), it was a great show. AOD and ATR were poopy live, though Skindred and Disturbed outstaged ERVRATHING (though last time I Saw Disturbed their live performance had kinda gone flat). Anyways, during the concert I got a signature from the guitarist of All That Remains (who also responded to me when I told him 'great shredding, mate'... he was the only member of All That Remains that played great live, and it was really cool watching him play solos 'cause he moved all over the place). The atmosphere of being in a place drawn by one interest with such a high energy all around you like electricity, fans that screamed their heads off just like you when the bands came on, the people that talk to you, etc... experiencing that for the first time is like the best feeling in the world. It seems almost every concert I go to is better than The One that came before it, or at least in most cases.

I'm sure I've answered this before:

First 'big' concert was Rolling Stones in 2007, although I've been taken by my parents to see local metal bands Ever Since I can remember.

my first concert was actually a Lividity show, of all things. There were a lot of other Brutal death acts: Mortify, Heaven Ablaze (well, they're melodic death) and The Myriad Burial and Blastomycosis. The only thing I remember from it was that there were like 15 people there and there was this one guy in a Dying Fetus shirt who was going apeshit the whole time and air guitared like a pro.
