My first 'concert' (as in big show) was Disturbed headlining with
All That Remains and being predecessed by the bands
Skindred and Art of Dying. Don't care that these are Nu/Mallcore bands (Disturbed was still a pretty good band at that point), it was a great show.
AOD and ATR were poopy live, though
Skindred and Disturbed outstaged ERVRATHING (though last time I
Saw Disturbed their live performance had kinda gone flat). Anyways, during the concert I got a signature from the guitarist of
All That Remains (who also responded to me when I told him 'great shredding, mate'... he was the only member of
All That Remains that played great live, and it was really cool watching him play solos 'cause he moved all over the place). The atmosphere of being in a place drawn by one interest with such a high energy all around you like electricity, fans that screamed their heads off just like you when the bands came on, the people that talk to you, etc... experiencing that for the first time is like the best feeling in the world. It seems almost every concert I go to is better than
The One that came before it, or at least in most cases.
I do album art for bands! Send me a Message or email [email protected] for more info. My website: http://curtisbotham.weebly.com/
