^ way to drive my point in to the ground.

Also, the heaviest band is Hellhammer, you stupid shits.

Hell
HAMMER.

If we're defining heaviness by guitar tone, I guess we could say various Drone bands, but they're borderline metal and the heaviest metal band have to be METAL TO THE CORE.

I'll say it again: HELLHAMMER.

Hellhammer? Really?
Maybe the reason I don't quite get it is 'cause I only heard Apocalyptic Raids from them, so maybe I haven't heard their meanest stuff. I dunno.
But you are right, they are quite heavy.
Loads heavier than Suicide Silence and Lamb Of God, anyway. 0

what? Hellhammer is light as fuck.

Bodysnatch or some other Brutal Slamming Death Metal band. I think thats probably the heaviest Metal sub-genre

hehehe. The fact that you use the term "i love deathcore" as an Insult Means you're agreeing that Deathcore is shitty. I WIN MUTHAFUCKAAAAA

Anywho. what principles are you basing "heavy" on anyways? I'm basing them mainly on guitar tone and a more "evil" feel rather than the Blood n' guts theme of most BDM. What you're saying is comparable to saying that Texas Chainsaw Massacre is the scariest movie ever, which of course is retarded. Unless that stuff actually scares you.

in which case you're still retarded.

I say the heaviest would be either Evoken or Weeping Birth . And I'm siding with Enigmatick, Hellhammer is pretty heavy.

hmmm?, lol you think you win 0

You implications are totally wrong, I wouldn't take being called I love Deathcore as offence (to me 0 )

I'm basing this on that Brutal Slamming Death Metal bands such as Bodysnatch. They combine, distored vocals with Distorted instuments and a nice slow tempo to create a friggin heavy atmosphere. Not in a way that makes me wanna hang myself, but heavy enough to headbang to.

It obviously didn't have positive connotations when you were referring to me, though. I know you didn't mean it like that, but then again, maybe you should think up better insults, christ.

And not only did Bodysnatch suck, they're not even the HEAVIEST of their kind. Ever heard of Cephalotripsy or Devourment? Both much "heavier" than that shit, if we're going by your definition of "distorted + slow = heavy"

As far as sound distortion goes: Anaal Nathrakh's got my vote in that category, they describe their genre as "Blackened electro-terror grind" I fuckin love in the constellation of the Black Widow
