Personally in the Hardcore genres, I love crust punk (wasn't a category, but Hardcore punk is the closest on here). With bands like Disfear, Discharge, Amebix, Masakari, Nux Vomica, Ekkaia, it is awesome.

Emo Metal is the type of metal that does not fit into any other subgenre or Core and is just a more "heavier/extreme" than Emo Rock and I can go on about their lyrical themes and imagery but I won't

As merc said, Crust punk and Black 'n Roll rocks. Only punk derived genres I like (along with a few Metalcore bands, but not much)

I think I prefer real metal genres as opposed to this poop.
