Er...no shit it's my opinion. Who else's opinion would it be?

Also, I'm interested to hear exactly why you enjoy the genre, as not a single fan of deathcore I've come across has been able to say something with any more depth than "It's FUCKING Brutal MAN!!!". Perhaps you could enlighten me.

They generally consider american hardcore/metalcore/deathcore 'crap', so I noticed it's actually made fun of around  my hometown.

Maybe it's not as popular around here, nobody really heard of 'Bring me the horizon', but most people heard of Eluveitie as a new band, for example.

Don't get me wrong, there are still a lot of narrow minded people that think they are the most intelligent and cultivated beings on Earth - people like that can be really Obnoxious even with really great musical knowledge-, but not about liking deathcore.

[Off topic]: Are american high schools similar with the ones shown in movies?(I mean the stupid stereotyping and stuff like that?) 0

The entire education system here in the US is Down the shitter essentially, the teachers don't care, the kids don't care, and nobody learns anything. It's the single worst institution I've been in, the dropout rate is somewhere around 20 percent I believe... And the stereotypes are all too true, except they're way more ignorant and Obnoxious than portrayed on movies... I tend to rant about high school every chance I get

And I thought that Canada was bad. The teachers care, but Beyond that, it is as you described it.

yeah dude, it's pathetic, at least you canadians gotta competent government, that probly helps a little, I'm gettin waay off topic here, but our whole system is fucked, and it's gonna take more than a black guy shouting "change!" to turn us around. I dunno bout other countries' high school population, but at my school there's like 8 kids at most that listen to good metal, the rest of the kids I see that look "metal" are just mindless scene kids with skinny pants and Suicide Silence and Whitechapel shirts.

The government is fine here, but damn are they still annoying. I actually haven't heard of Obama actually doing anything related to change to be honest.

Now... BACK TO TOPIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only bands that I like that could be considered deathcore (I said considered) would be Heaven Shall Burn, Darkest Hour, Anterior (kind of), and Destriers Gait. I am definitely not a fan of most modern deathcore though.

Calm Down dude.

Anyways I can say something other than "It's FUCKING Brutal MAN!!!!" firstly just because a specific genre has no atmosphere doesn't make it bad. I like Deathcore because you have to have a certain amount of skill to play some of the songs. How many people can play Destruction Of A Statue (Suicide Silence)  guitar or play the fast double Kick on the song My Fears Have Become Phobias (As Blood Runs Black) . Also Deathcore does also have emotions. They just express it different ways, they either express it in music or vocals/lyrics. Just listen to the song In The Arms Of Perdition by Animosity or the song Seasons by About A Plane Crash.

Also why do people dislike it so much. (ok some people think that it is not brutal/heavy so what, I don't think Black Metal is as Extreme as what people portray it to be but I still listen to it not becuase of all that atmosphere stuff, Purely because I think it is good music)0

Ok respect for it a genre can't be gay and you might like SS. But don't you bother the attitude of elitism of many deathcore/metalcore fans?

Was that a Retorical question0

I don't consider Deathcore "gay", i consider other music genres "gay".
SOME Deathcore is decent, but most of it just sound like kids who are trying to be Brutal, but fail. No Offense to fans, but when i hear Brutal music, i want also to hear lyrics about women being raped with chainsaws, or mutilating little children. Crying about every problem in your life doesn't fit it. Of course, there is also Deathcore with some enjoyable lyrics.
And yeah, the fans. Most Deathcore fans are just ignorant assholes, who consider themselves as so Brutal, and experts of metal.
But hey, not all fans are like that

And, good explanation miniradman

Thanks Miniradman 0  and yeah I agree with you... I don't get why people have to Hate on other peoples music. It doesn't matter how "brutal" or whatever you think is cool.. it is, it still is good music to YOU, and that's all that matters.
