I find it irritating that a woman who is introduced into a predominantly-masculine sport she gets paraded around in this way. Then again, sports are usually hyper-masculine, arrogant, and violent things that tend to lead to the participants getting brain damage (at least in all the popular sports).

As someone who is from hockey-obsessed Canada, I can say this with total conviction :D

i could also agree being from a country obsessed with rugby....ohh how i Hate rugby and it is all that any cunt talks about. I get disgusted looks when someone asks if i watched the game and i say 'na don't get into the rugby aye'

Yeah, I'm not too KeeN on rugby either. The game is; slow (starts and stops constantly), unintuitive ("I put ball to other side... me score!!!"), too long (80 bloody minutes watching 40 men chase what looks like an egg). It's just not interesting for me.

Oh, and I Hate all those Hardcore fans in Australia whose IQ is about 61 telling me:
"nya, if u dun't lyke rugby your a farkin shitcunt aye"

Or the over-exhuberant kids at school who think they're gonna be the next big rugby star... man, they shit me off

Sport nowadays is not about getting fit or healthy... it's about making money. And since sport is typically considered to be a male dominated sector, this kind of thing is only inevitable.

Rugby is a great sport, but you opinion is your's and I'm not going to question it. I can see how you get annoyed with it being bombarded by rugby questions on a daily basis. It's like here in the UK where every kid thinks he's going to be the next Messi.

Anyway off to see the BTCC in october at Brands Hatch!

Favorite racer. Jason Plato.

Since when were sports about anything other than makng money? It's been that way since long before any of us were born! XD Did you hear about the NHL strike? The players went on strike because they thought being paid millions of dollars annually wasn't enough. :

Remember, I live in the country that has a city that rioted for hours because the city's hockey team lost the tournament or whatever. I think if the NHL broke apart, there'd be Mass suicides and pillaging in the streets from one Canadian coast to the other. :

My favorite sport  without any hesitation is Boxing. I've started when I was 15 but unfortunately I had to stop a year ago. But soon I'm gonna train again if everything goes well. Otherwise I play soccer really often with friends.
