Depends on if I'm drinking and who I'm with. When I'm with my partner i don't headbang half as much as when I'm with my headbanging, drinking buddy. I never mosh, I don't understand the attraction with rubbing up against sweaty men.

I don't like to mosh; I go for the music. Headbanging is also sorta minimal. If it's a clean-vocals band I'm seeing and I know the lyrics, I shout them out, and that's about it. I tend to keep my distance from circle pits etc.

I know that's rare in a metalhead but that's me.

There's sweaty girls as well...

it depends whoI go with. If I go with my girlfriend I try to behave myself but if I'm with friends I'll go completely insane and Dash straight to the middle of the pits until I either Collapse(not happened yet), tire and retreat or get yanked out because of high aggression levels.

I wonder why so many people try to behave themselves when their girlfriends are around in consert but ACT crazy when they're not. Can anyone explain?

Probably don't wanna look bad or appear too violent? Or it could be girlfriends like to watch from a place and they want to sit with them and not leave them sitting alone or something.
Don't think anybody acted too differently around me, though. Or maybe I didn't know, lol.
I, for one, would do the same as always: grab on to that fence [if I like the band then I like the front row!], headbang if I can, and use the date or boyfriend as a human shield  0 0  - that if he would rather sit next to me instead of moshing or watching from afar.

Yeah . Those people had propably the wrong girlfriends . Mine either didnt listen to metal are would be able to Kick my ass in the pit . I still hold that as a challenge .

It is true thought , that from our side , we usually keep out of trouble when with girls . Its maturity talking . You can deal whaterever is thrown at you , or at least dont care , but when you have another ( girls dont offend here ) usually more vurnurable with you , then you avoid creating fuss , cause you know It Will Come back at you and possibly Hurt her .
But as i said , there are some women that dont really need protection , the exact opposite

In my case, it's because I tend to go and see bands like Kamelot and Nightwish with my girlfriend and you can't ACT too Mental to those types of bands. But with my friends I go see bands like All That Remains, Chimaira and Sylosis, and then I ACT like a drunken retard..

Remember, guys, that I'm coming up to 31 years of age. I don't know about other people in their 30's, but I have calmed Down a lot, I'm not like I was when I was 20. (especially my weight, I'm now a fat bastard)

Their bodies do.
