Amen to that!


Which probably explains why many younger people tend to get into Deathcore (and other Core genres) over Black Metal or death metal. However, I don't consider individual talent to be the "backbone" of good music. Sometimes simpler, is better. (only sometimes though )

I remember having fun once, it was terrible...

Black metal can be fairly easy to write too, (cfr Transsilvanian hunger) but you need to get that feel to the music, that touch that bm needs to sound good.

Same with Deathcore too

My favorites are Job For A Cowboy (though they dropped the Core from there style very early), Black Dahlia Murder (not really Deathcore but for some reason people continue to brand them as such), Carnifex, and my all time favorite Despised Icon.
