Their best (that I've heard so Far) is defenitely ANIMALS! I can't grasp why this is so overlooked. The music kicks amazing ass, even thought there're only 5 songs (3 if you count that 'Pigs' is reprised at the beginning, end and middle of the album). Anyway it's amazing and someone take my word and go listen to either Dogs (my personal favorite), Pigs (3 Different Ones), or Sheep. Seriously, this crap is amazing. Great flowing prog song structure, great atmosphere and Dripping With Passion and emotion. It's such a strong moving album. I never got the true feel for it until I sat Down and listened to it (really listened to it) in one sitting. ...Oh, and no, weed is not necessary to enjoy Floyd. Seriously. |
