Wormwood - The Isolationist
I just saw the video to Wormwood - The Isolationist. It was long and drawn out with some dull moments. But the climaxes didn't seem to bring anything that hasn't been done many of times before.
What a coincidence, I've been listening to another band from Sweden today. This is one of my favorite Black Metal songs. Svartsyn - From Haunted Depths
Yeah, I wouldn't say Wormwood is a band that brought something new on the table, but I think with Nattarvet they released a solid melodic Black Metal album. There it are especially the calmer moments that makes their music enjoyable to me. I'm getting goosebumps from the midsection in "The Isolationist".
Thy Art Is Murder - They Will Know Another
Yes, it has that really cool atmosphere. Pretty unique in common deathcore ;)
As I Lay Dying - Torn Between
I like that song from As I Lay Dying. it has the same intensity that they had about 9 or 10 years ago. I used to listen to Metalcore bands, but my favorites like Trivium and Demon Hunter have lost their intensity. Shadows Fall hasn't released an album in many years.
Horna - Sanojesi Aarelle
I was impressed with that song, it was intense with some unexpected twists and turns that kept it interesting.
Blut Aus Nord - A Few Shreds of Thoughts
