Has no  one mentioned Coroner yet?
That's lame.

I liked Wolverine's idea to post favourite thrash albums. Here are mine:

Coroner: No More Colour
Holy Terror: Mind Wars
Hellwitch: Syzygial Miscreancy

As you can see, there's room for a lot more. I am open to suggestions (and I've aready heard all the classic albums by Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer). Someone tell me some awesome stuff to listen to.

Some of the lesser-known thrash bands that I like to listen to include Detente, Slaughter, Defier, Artillery, Destroyer 666 (Blackened thrash), Nailgunner

I don't really have favorite thrash bands, as much as I have favorite thrash albums, so...

Metallica - MofP
Testament - The New Order
Sodom - Agent Orange
Detente - Recognize No Authority
Slaughter - Strappado
Kreator - Terrible Certainty

You consider Destroyer 666 lesser-known? I thought everyone here knew who they were And that is a good recommendation--I've already heard Unchain the Wolves and a couple songs off the following album, and they Kick ass. If I hadn't already known them I'd be thanking you now :D
I'll have to get around to Artillery and Detente. I'm planning on listening to Razor and Morbid Saint a bit Closer (I've already heard a bit from Razor and everything from Morbid Saint, but I think I should try 'em again because of how awesome some of the riffs were.

I used to be big into Agent Orange, but as I listened to it more I realized that it was following a lot of cliches that prevented it from being hugely unique. The songs Remember the Fallen and Exhibition Bout are still awesome, though.
Master of Puppets is cool, but I have issue with the songs Leper Messiah and The Song That Should Not Be. The former sounds too poppy and without emotion and the latter sounds like the garbage from The Black Album.
Oh, I've been thinking of taking another look at Kreator. I listened to Pleasure to Kill a few times and thought it was awful, but I'm asking all Kreator fans out there--are their other albums better?
