Hangar 18 -
Megadeth: This was one of my first metal songs, so it has a special place haha. I also just love the musicality of the song, especially when the tempo picks up about halfway through.
2. Territory -
Sepultura: This was the first song I learned to play on the drums, so again, special haha. I also love the main riff, the lyrics and them of the song as well.
3. Be All,
End All -
Anthrax: I love the melody, it sounds
Ominous and
Aggressive at the same time.
Anthrax is also one of my favorite bands.

Die Young -
Black Sabbath:
Heaven And Hell is my favorite
Black Sabbath album, not just with
Dio, but from their whole discography (although all the others are great as well). I love the lyrics and it makes me think about Dio.
5. Hallowed Be Thy Name - Iron Maiden: Again, love the melody and just the musicality of it all. Bruce's scream at the beginning just adds a whole new level to the song after the intro. What a great way to
End The Number Of The Beast.
6. Electric Eye -
Judas Priest: I'm counting the Hellion with this too haha. I can't think of a better way to start Screaming For
Vengeance without those
Two tracks. Electric Eye is just so catchy and has a great riff.
7. Greater Distance -
The Ghost Inside: Probably my favorite
Metalcore song at this point. I really love this band, and the breakdowns on this song are superb.
8. Finest Hour - Borealis: Mixes the ferocity of
Power Metal with harsh vocals in some instances. Great, beautiful song.
9. Zerospan -
Charred Walls Of The Damned: One of my new favorite bands overall. Ripper and Richard Christy are amazing, along with
Steve DiGiorgio and
Jason Suecof. The lyrics and whole song are great, and Ripper is one of my favorite vocalists.
10. Dead To Rights -
DevilDriver: I listen to this when I'm pissed at something and it is just a great angry, hard and fast song. Gotta love DevilDriver.
